now forevermore

Sabine Little, with thanks to Richard DowntonNow Forevermore is all about that special something, a bespoke service which allows you to be involved in the design of your piece from start to finish. Sabine Little, the designer and artist behind Now Forevermore, has a background that is as colourful as it is creative. After moving to the UK from Germany in 1994, she first trained as an opera singer before moving into education, where she gained a PhD. She currently lives north of Sheffield, on the edge of the beautiful Peak District.

Sabine began silversmithing in 2005, and in 2007, lit the lampworking torch for the first time. Lampworking is the art of melting glass and shaping it into beads, and it was not long before Sabine specialised in sculptural beads, such as the roses and butterflies you see at Now Forevermore. Being able to work with metal as well as glass allows Sabine to create her pieces from start to finish, making her own settings for her lampwork beads, and following a creative idea, even if the components for it do not exist. She also works with precious metal clay and resin, and these skills are featured throughout the collections on this site.

Sabine teaches lampworking, and regularly contributes to beading, jewellery-making and glass art magazines. Behind her work for Now Forevermore lies the firm belief that every bride deserves her perfect day, and the desire to play a part in making that perfect day a reality.
